Upgrade your fireplace with the Ashley Hearth AW1820E Fireplace Insert, designed for both performance and elegance. This air-tight insert meets EPA Step 2 / 2020 standards for emissions and delivers up to 69,000 BTUs to heat areas up to 1,200 sq. ft. depending on insulation and layout.
Crafted from heavy gauge 3/16″ reinforced plate steel with firebrick lining, it includes a large cast-iron door with cool-touch wood handle and a generous ceramic glass viewing window (~16.5″ x 9″). The air-washed glass helps keep soot under control.
Installation is easier with the included hearth surround (31″ x 44″) and spring-loaded automatic adjustment. An adjustable high-speed blower (≈150 CFM) helps distribute heat, and the unit accepts logs up to 18″. Proudly built to replace earlier models (Vogelzang TR004 / US Stove 2200IE), while meeting modern environmental expectations and maintaining a timeless design.
