The Original BioBricks For Wood Stove
Our Original BioBricks have a uniform rectangular shape which makes it easier to tightly pack a stove with the greatest amount of BioBricks. Because these “BioBricks” can be tightly packed, the fire burns longer and more uniform. A pallet/ton of BioBricks, when burned, will give as much heat as a full cord of seasoned firewood in terms of BTU’s while taking up half the space. The bricks are the perfect size; if bigger they might not burn up completely, if smaller they might burn too hot.
BioBricks are ideally sized for optimal packing in wood stoves & made from 100% wood.
BioBricks are compressed wood bricks made from dried sawdust that are specifically designed to create hot and efficient fires in wood stoves. They can be densely packed into the fire box of a stove which creates a hotter, longer burn and are a less-messy alternative to cordwood. In addition to being used as a stand-alone wood stove fuel, BioBricks are also great for starting fires and can improve the performance of under-seasoned cord wood when burned together.

I had high hopes for these BioBricks, and while they do burn clean and produce decent heat, I wasn’t as impressed as I expected. They take longer to catch fire than regular logs, and I found myself needing to use more kindling than usual. Once they’re burning, the heat is solid, but the effort to get them going makes them a little less convenient for me. Not bad, just not as perfect as I was hoping.

Overall, these are excellent fuel bricks—much cleaner and more efficient than traditional firewood. They produce steady, reliable heat and leave minimal ash. The only drawback for me is that they can be a little tricky to light without extra kindling. Once going, though, they perform beautifully. Still very satisfied and will keep buying.
